Initial Festival 2022

For its first edition, Initial Festival settled down in the heart of Bordeaux with the very best of the electronic scene. For 2 days, 15 000 festival-goers came and celebrated the New World and danced along to the sound of Claptone, Cerrone, I Hate Models, Madeon, POPOF, Breakbot & Irfane, Joachim Pastor and many other artists !

A festival 100% devoted to electronic music in an industrial complex, which has been transformed into a lost paradise.

We will reimburse you for the initokens left on your wristband after the festival! To do so, fill out this form now. The link is active until July 17 at 11:59 p.m., and you will then receive the money in your account within a maximum of 2 weeks.

The number of your wristband requested in the form is the one on the back of the chip on your wristband.

The venue is accessible:

by tram on line C (30 minutes from Bordeaux city center)
by car, a parking lot on the outskirts of the festival is open to the public
by taxi and mountain bike

How many stages will there be?

Will food and beverages be available for purchase on site?

Yes. Initial Festival will be fully equipped so that festivalgoers who wish to can satisfy their hunger and quench their thirst.

Will the food trucks be open all night?

The foodtrucks will be open from:

Saturday: 12 p.m. - 3 a.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.

What is 360º Extensions?

The 360º Extension is an immersive 360º stage with a spatialized sound system of 16 speakers. This stage can accommodate a maximum of 250 people at the same time. During the festival, it will host 5 DJ set sessions by the artist Éléphantmat at the following times:

Saturday:

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
From 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Sunday:

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

During these 12 hours of set, Éléphantmat will offer experimental, organic and label-free techno in a 3-dimensional sound space. With this unique approach, melodies, rhythms and textures are written in a real score

Will there be a free water point on site?

Free water point available at the festival. However, water bottles are not allowed!

What type of bags are allowed on site?

Only SMALL BAGS will be allowed: banana, clutch, classic totebags. Eastpack size backpacks are prohibited! Travel light!

What security measures are available at the festival?

At the entrance of the festival, searches will be reinforced at the entrance and no prohibited items will be allowed. Each person will be checked and holders of syringes or GHB will not be allowed to enter and escorted by the police. The Hangover Café association will be present throughout the festival alongside the Red Cross to accompany you and prevent the risks of alcohol, drugs, sexual and noise violence. Also, the code name "Where´s Angela?" can be sent to festival staff to trigger a safety device to deal with sexual violence or any type of harassment. Find the stands on site!

Corks: where can I find them?

Corks will be available free of charge on the stand

About access to Initial Festival

Can minors enter? Is there an age restriction?

Access to Initial Festival is restricted to adults aged 18 and over. An original identity document or an equivalent document may be requested at the entrance to the site.

Is it possible to access with food/drink?

You will not be able to access the venue with food or drink. Initial Festival will be fully equipped so that festivalgoers who wish to can satisfy their hunger and quench their thirst.

Can I bring pets?

Pets are not allowed. Guide dogs will not be considered pets and will have normal access to the premises.

Is it possible to enter with a motorcycle helmet?

No, you cannot access the site with a motorcycle helmet. You will have to leave it in one of the cloakrooms at the entrance of the festival.

Are there spaces suitable for people with reduced mobility?

There will be a space reserved for PRMs in front of the stages. There will also be suitable PMR toilets.

If I leave the premises, can I re-enter?

No, each ticket has only one entry to the site. Once you have entered the festival, if you leave you cannot re-enter. For 2-day passes, one entry and one exit per day will be possible. Any early exit from the festival on Saturday will require waiting for the reopening of the doors on Sunday to access the site again.

Denial of access to the site:

Access to the site will be denied to the following persons:

any person who is not in possession of the appropriate ticket
any person who is clearly under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, psychotropics, stimulants or similar substances
any person acting violently and/or who is likely to cause inconvenience to the public or to anyone likely to impair the normal operation of the show or activity
any person wearing a football jersey or any other symbols inciting violence and/or that may cause conflict with other attendees
any person who is not in possession of an identity document and/or supporting document

Where can I buy tickets?

By downloading the Fever app, available on Google Play and Apple Store
On the Fever website

Can I exchange or return my ticket?

Ticket returns are not allowed.

What happens if I have a problem with my ticket when accessing the festival?

Next to the access roads to the site, you will find a Fever incident stand. Go there and someone will assist you to try to solve the problem you have with your ticket.

I can't find my ticket, what should I do?

Once you have made your purchase, you must follow these steps:

Download our Fever app
Log in with the same method as the one used when you bought your ticket (email, Facebook, Gmail or Apple ID).
Click on Profile and you can find your tickets in the Tickets section.

f you want to change your contact email address, you can do so in “Profile” > “Edit Profile”. Once this is done, if you wish, we can send you your purchase confirmation email again. Remember in all cases that what you have to show is your ticket from the app: you will always find the instructions for use there.”

What happens if I buy my ticket through a point of sale other than Fever?

Never buy a ticket from an individual or a point of sale other than Fever. They may sell you a fake ticket. Then, when you arrive at the site, our access control system will detect it and you will not be able to access the site.

Is there a special fare for PRM escorts?

No, the attendee must pay for the ticket as a PRM.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

After the festival: how can I get my unused credit refunded?

The number of your wristband requested in the form is the one on the back of the chip on your wristband.
